Father's Day

Our daddy's one request was to take Lawson to a Braves game(such sacrificial love).  The two headed to ATL early Saturday morning with Pop as their driver.  They meet up with Uncle Bo and Fuller.  FUN in the SUN(scorching temps) was had and the boys even made it 7 innings.  I am sure it was all the JUNK incentive that Pop was purchasing every 2 minutes.

Update from Fiesty...

She can wear a ponytail now...Huge milestone in life!  Of course the "bobby pin" trick has to help!

Like Mother like Son....

And so the TRADITION begins.....FLASH has found a new sport.  The first week of swim team was a cold one and everyday he got out of the pool he said, "Mommy I want you to 'unsign me.'"  Mother FOUGHT hard and it all boiled down to the FIRST DUAL meet....FLASH WON HIS HEAT!! He might have just been up against one other 5 year old but it was a fight to the finish!!  FLASH was amazed by his performance and now is in love with swimming!!

Peer pressure from cousins always help!

The race is on.....

Fiesty took her own Barracuda camp the first week of June

BEACH FUN

So after school ended we headed STRAIGHT to the BEACH.  We meet grandparents and cousins there as well. It was GREAT fun and ACTUALLY...pretty relaxing!  Special memories with sweet family.

Goodbye Covenant

I somewhat took the "I am not going to go there" mentality but it was a sad day to think this would be Flash's last day at Covenant.  It has been an amazing FIVE years there and I can remember when he started at 8 months old in the Bunny room.  Time certainly does fly by and this school has help provide him a foundation for Jesus.  We are both grateful.

Fiesty's first Ballet Recital...

As a mom, I think you always dream of the day your little girl does ballet and wears the pretty tutu...This day came for me.  Fiesty had her chance to SHINE on the STAGE at the beautiful Theater.  We were quite impressed with her moves and she didn't miss a beat!
