FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN

It came with a lot of emotions and the neat part is that God was so present in all the details.  Because of our living situation we did not know that Lawson was going to Shades Cahaba until July.  I was so torn about sending him to Covenant to continue Christian education and NOT ready for the REAL world. But, God had Shades Cahaba for us.  It was "meet the teacher" day the first of August.  We walk up to find out that his TWO best friends are in his class(good or bad) and his teacher's husband was the associate pastor at MBBC for a number of years.  Now, she is the children's director at night at Riverchase Baptist.  I was blown away to see that God knew my heart and knew I needed her sweet heart for my child this year. Lawson is having a GREAT year and loves his class and teacher.

SO BEHIND

Having to skip ahead...will be back for the summer/start of school highlights(one day). But, had to get this video clip in before I missed it!! Sweet to have friends. They are Thursday gymnastics buddies and friends for a lifetime. We are so thankful for our Margaret!!!

The FUNNY behind the VBS program...

It has been a busy week of MBBC VBS.  Thursday night we had Flash's singing program for his VBS week.  Fiesty was in the seats with Pop ready to watch and cheer on Lawson in his singing program.  Mama and Daddy were in the balcony with Little Bit while he ran everywhere.  Fiesty started begging POP to do the program because Char was walking to the stage.  Next thing  I know Pop is putting on a shirt for Fiesty and she is front and center singing her heart out to songs she had NO CLUE.  I think she is going to be dancing on the stage in the future!!

Happy 4th....It rained!

Nothing to report except family fun in the RAIN!!

OLD FRIENDS

So here is where it all began.....Two friends that became friends in their mommy's tummy!  Sweet memories in a 37 year friendship.  This friend has now moved away but many NEW memories are formed when she comes back.  We love her kiddos and we love to visit....They are all now our PEN PALS!!

Summertime zoo

It was actually a COOL day in June so Mama decided to brave the zoo with all 3!!  We had a great time.  The elephants were roaming and they were feeding the giraffes!  Adams was in AWE over the animals(maybe his first time to the zoo-third child).  Sweet memories with these babies...
