FLASH = FIVE

Wow! FIVE YEARS OLD....So hard to believe but this is a sweet age.  He had the coolest birthday- CAMO CAMPOUT! After MUCH debate mommy decided to "pull the trigger" and have it at the house!  We did the "big boy" thing and had the mom's drop off.  Flash has the COOLEST dad because he took off a half day of work and turned our backyard into a boot camp obstacle course.  All the boys wore camo, played with guns, played in a tent and ate cake. It was a GREAT time!!  Flash, we hope you always stay this sweet!!

My baby is NOT 9 months

It is official.....it also MIGHT be my favorite age....Our Little Bit is crawling, pulling up, saying da da, laughing, LOVES excitement and the chaos of our house. He is such a great sleeper and on the GO all the time.  He also LOVES his mommy(sorry had to say it).  He gives me the BIGGEST smile whenever I enter and crawls right on up to me.  I am officially IN LOVE!!!  FLASH said to me today...
"Mommy don't you just love this age of LittleBit(think he has heard me say it). I hope he always stays this way...." Sweet boys!!

Please don't judge the dirty bib and the keys. We waited an HOUR at his appointment!!

Beginning to look a lot like Christmas 2012...

That time again....CHRISTMAS! Kind of puts a knot in this mama's tummy but trying to focus on the MAIN reason for the SEASON and not all that needs to be done(because I have done nothing).  Pop took his ANNUAL Christmas card photo....which one will he choose?? It was chaos but as usual FUN with NINE cousins(baby Adams FIRST Christmas)

We got to spend the WHOLE day with Char Char....Tot Lot, baby dolls, hotdogs, and long naps.  We had fun!!

Thanksgiving Program 2012

WE had a PILGRIM(FLASH) and a TURKEY(Fiesty) in the T day program this year. Unfortunately, little bit attended but had a fever so mom was not on her A game.  The kiddos were adorable and the place was packed.  Poor Flash didn't get any "up close"pictures of his Pilgrim self but Mrs Tracy took some and a video of Alice.

A Memory....

Tonight when daddy was giving Little Bit his bath he looked up and said..." Da da da da."  Daddy and I both were standing there and couldn't believe it!  That marks 8 months and 3 weeks he said his FIRST word(of course daddy).  The funny part is that Fiesty and Flash ran in and we told them and they started begging Little Bit to say their name :).  Our baby is growing up!!

Little Bit gets new ears!

Here we were again this morning....It was our FIFTH time to be at Children's south now putting tubes in Baby Adams' ears.  Poor thing had 3 ear infections in a row and now that we understand the system of tubes we were ready to sign him up. It was somewhat special to wake up early and get some alone time with this sweet little man.  The doctor got there right away and we were done in 2 hours and home by the time Flash and Fiesty were eating breakfast.  He did great and had a great nap as well.  I thought I would re-cap ALL three of their experiences at Children's South!

Flashs goes to Norfolk

What a TREAT that Flash got to go visit G dada and Meme in Norfolk with daddy.  They had a wonderful time.  First of all HOW fun is just an airplane ride!  How fun to watch the clouds while viewing your favorite movies!

Now, once they arrived life in Norfolk is PERFECT for a 4 almost 5 year old boy!  They toured naval ships, ate amazing food and fished all day!  The weather was cold, but that did not stop them from catching FIVE speckled trout!  Success was had by all!  Meme is an amazing cooked and she fried up those fishes and Fiesty ate and ate which is SUCCESS! We are thankful for sweet grandparents and only wish they lived closer to Birmingham.

FIESTY TURNS 3!

What a special day October 30th was 3 years ago!  I had a bit of a memory the night before this year as I stepped outside to go to dinner. I can remember that COLD morning at 5AM when daddy and I headed to the hospital having NO clue we were about to have a baby girl!  I remember leaving the house quietly because Flash and grandparents were sleeping upstairs with butterflies in my tummy.

It is hard to believe life without FIESTY and now here we are 3 years lately celebrating with a DORA party.  Wow, we had a blast as all of her classmates, friends and cousins came to Covenant church to see Dora and have a cupcake.  The birthday began with a surprise cinnamon roll and NEW bike at 6am and the festivities continued throughout the day!  We are thankful for our sweet baby girl and these past 3 years!!

8 months going on 3 years....

Sweet Little Bit you are more than a blessing to us. You are moving ALL THE TIME and love to bounce up and down.  Your daddy and I laugh because you take after your older brother.  No time for a bottle anymore and at 8 months STRAIGHT to BIG food.  For the last month you have watched and grabbed at our food and finally your mommy broke the rules and gave you solid food.  You love sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, yogurt, peaches and I must say bananas are your favorite.  You make a mess every time you eat.  You love to watch Fiesty and Flash and whenever they are talking loud you start to scream.   Your smile is contagious and has reminded your mommy numerous times to take time to find JOY in the day!  Thank you for being our MIRACLE and our BLESSING!!  Stay ALWAYS this sweet(did you hear me :).
